  DAISY FANCOURT (Piano)
  Daisy is in her first year studying Music at Christ Church, Oxford. She has played regularly as repetiteur in music theatre, performing and recording with the National Youth Music Theatre at Covent Garden, with the Sage Gateshead Youth Theatre in Newcastle, and taking a month off school in 2006 to play keyboard in a professional musical at Salisbury Playhouse.

Recent concerts have included recitals at All Saints’ in London and St Pauls‘ Wathen Hall, performing Poulenc's Concerto for two pianos in March 2008, accompanying at The Royal Hospital Chapel, Chelsea, and playing with the OUP in Oxford last term.

In January, Daisy recorded a CD for Classic FM on the chamber organ with singers and cello, and will be performing with the group later this year at The Royal Albert Hall and the Manchester Bridgewater Hall.

Daisy has won a number of prizes including the Sheila Mossman Award and the Associated Board Silver Bursary, and gained a distinction in her DipABRSM in 2007.

She is currently preparing for her LRSM, learning with Katya Apekisheva with whom she has studied for the past three years.
