THE DAY
  Sat 16 May 2009
Jacqueline Du Pré Music Building, St Hilda’s College, Oxford

The best emerging classical musicians in an impressive one day festival.

Hear classical stars in the making showcased in a day of intimate recitals plus a thrilling evening concert. This year’s unmissable musicians include a string quartet, wind trio, baritone, pianist and violinist.

In the lead up to Springboard, our artists have exclusive workshops with internationally renowned musicians, pianist Melvyn Tan and violinist Levon Chilingirian. The final concert gives them the fantastic experience of performing with these world class mentors. Join them for the journey before they break onto the world stage.

Beyond the superb music, bask in the beautiful riverside grounds, browse the art exhibition, hear insightful musical guest speakers give talks and indulge in the delicious food on offer. And of course no Oxford festival would be complete without lawn games!
